What you’ll learn

Expedition Veterinary Medicine: Arctic Operations

An immersive training experience in Northern Sweden designed for veterinary professionals, dog handlers, and trainers. Develop the essential skills needed to work with dogs in extreme environments, from cold weather survival to advanced canine trauma care and arctic mobility.

The course is designed to offer both an experiential and expeditionary focus. It is about handlers and vet teams operating in extreme conditions; self-support and personal skills for cold weather environments, canine husbandry and trauma care in cold-weather scenarios plus telemedicine and tactical evacuation plans. It is about learning new skills but also conducting routine tasks in extreme environments.
