Abbey Veterinary Services

Abbey Veterinary Services is a well established diagnostic veterinary laboratory (founded in 1985) specialising in histopathology and cytopathology but also provides other services including clinical pathology (haematology, biochemistry, serology and endocrinology )and bacterial/fungal culture and full urine analysis.

We are one of the biggest diagnostic veterinary laboratories in the UK. We provide our service predominantly to clients within the UK but also have many clients throughout the world. We provide a rapid veterinary diagnostic histopathology, cytology and clinical pathology service and we report on in excess of sixty thousand cases annually.

The majority of samples we receive are generally routine but the size of the team allows provision for specialist and collective opinions on difficult cases. Our team consists of experienced American and European Board certified as well as MRCPath qualified pathologists.

The Webinar Vet was set up in February 2010 with the express wish of making veterinary education easier for vets with very busy lives - no more travelling for veterinary CPD, in fact veterinary CPD in the comfort of your own home but still in a live lecture format.
