Cats are often forgotten when it comes to skin diseases and there may be several reasons for this. They include a lack of research and treatments, the failure of owners to seek help until it may be too late and the difficulty the owners have in medicating them successfully. This course will bring you up to date on the latest clinical practice in feline dermatology.

There are 6 modules on the more common dermatological diseases that you are likely to encounter in general practice, plus MCQ’s.

Each module is composed of notes, webinar and a case study. In some of the modules the webinars may be divided into bite size recordings to make it easier.

The case study will have a short history with clinical pictures of the case and questions. The aim of the case studies is to highlight the systematic approach for investigating skin diseases in cats and to highlight the newer treatment options now available

Don’t give up on cats, they are beautiful and, treated correctly, they have remarkable healing powers.

The modules are:

Module 1: Pruritus, eosinophilic skin diseases and allergies in cats

Module 2: Mites in cats

Module 3: Feline pyoderma

Module 4: Fungal infections in cats

Module 5: Autoimmune and immune mediated skin diseases in cats

Module 6: Cutaneous manifestation of systemic diseases in cats

Module 7: MCQs

The course is composed of a series of modules, with each module containing a pre-recorded webinar, notes to download and keep, plus clinical cases to test your understanding and there is no need to do things at set times. You can get your CPD Certificate (worth 8 hours of CPD), by taking the end of course Multiple Choice Exam.
